The basic package is the starting point of your journey, which can then be spiced up with selections from our options or flavoured with by own desires. Welcome!

Rental car

We have a contract with Maggiore in Italy with access to their entire fleet of cars, which means all sizes of cars. They have primarily Italian makes but may have others as well. This includes auto insurance, one-way drop (pick-up and leave at different locations, if you wish to continue on to Rome for example) and additional drivers without extra fees (great for wine tasting!).

GPS

XL Europe 22, or equivalent GPS from TomTom. Your GPS is pre-programmed with our experts’ tips of what to see and do in Chianti. Of course, the latest maps of Western Europe and Scandinavia are included and an English audio guide will lead you. The GPS navigator is included in the price of the Basic Package (suggested retail price € 190).

Travel Guide

Go Slow Travel’s guide booklet with all of the stops and contact information to restaurants, vineyards and scenic points of interest that are programmed in your GPS.

Accomodation

Double room with breakfast included. You may choose between our three agritourism vineyards which will be your starting point on the journey. You also have the option to stay any number of nights at one location and then move on to one or both of the others.

Welcome dinner

A welcome dinner is served on the day of your arrival and you will receive a small host package (in English) that will give you an introduction to the food and wine in the region.

Nine Pearls

Pre-programmed into your GPS are the addresses of 3 restaurants, 3 vineyards and 3 points of interest that have been carefully selected to make your trip a treasure.
