Badia di Pomaio is a carefully restored 17th century monastery with a breath-taking view, overlooking the surrounding valley and the medieval city of Arezzo. The tiny internal square and its ancient loggia become an outdoor restaurant in the summertime, and the dining room provides a cosy winter atmosphere warmed by the fire-place. Badia di Pomaio has 17 rooms, comfortable, quiet, and individually decorated in harmony from the warm colors of the terracotta flooring and the wood/brick ceilings. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers and hairdryers, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephones, mini-bar, in-room safes and wireless Internet.

The restaurant’s original cuisine makes prevalent use of local, natural products, organic wherever possible. A prestigious selection of both local and international wines may be served on the panoramic terrrace when sun sets after a memorable day of excursions.
